With Father’s day fast approaching, this one is for the dads and male role models in your child’s life.

We understand that being a dad comes with its fair share of challenges, and it’s natural to feel stressed or anxious from time to time. But guess what? You are far from alone in this journey!  We are here to support you every step of the way.

This week, we want to share some effective tips to help you manage feelings of stress and anxiety.

Remember, taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your little ones. As the saying goes, you need to secure your own oxygen mask before others.

Top Tips

  1. Breathe it out: When you feel overwhelmed, take a moment to focus on your breath. Deep breathing exercises can help calm your mind and reduce stress.
  2. Find your support system: Connect with other dads or caregivers who can relate to your experiences. Sharing your thoughts and feelings with others can provide valuable support and perspective. A Dads Group is a great place for this! Learn more about Dads Groups here
  3. Prioritise self-care: Make time for activities that recharge and rejuvenate you. Whether it’s going for a walk, enjoying a hobby, or simply taking a relaxing bath, remember to prioritise self-care.
