Mrs Abbot-Atchison’s Year 9 English class engaged in Rap Battles that had to explore an issue that they protested. Students explored concepts such as war, the environment, racism, guns and violence, and religion.

In groups, they had to transfer their understanding of poetic and literary techniques and apply this to their own rap. Congratulations to Sacha Byrne, Seth Armstrong, Elijah McMonigal who composed Guns and James Butlin, Matthew Lewry, Oliver Wagemaker and Christopher Rae who composed Rap Verse.  Outstanding work boys.
