Under 13’s Rugby League
Training, teamwork and tenacity, perhaps best describes this team’s performance last week at the Central Coast All Schools Carnival.

The team scored 130 points and conceded only 6 on the day, in a tight struggle against Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College in the semi final. St Edward’s College had strong wins over MacKillop Catholic College, Warnervale; Terrigal High School and Kincumber High School.

The team still has work to do before the final to be played on 27 June. The winner of this final will then progress to Country Cup finals and NSW Schools Knockout. Our St Edward’s boys, most importantly, gave the school a good name by playing with spirit, by behaving extremely well both on and off the field. The College values the support of the many parents who attended the carnival.

Voted by players as Best and Fairest on the day in the 5 games was Will Hodder and Tyrone Dorrel with Malakai Smith and Keiran Diamond also prominent in the voting.
