All Courses Available Soon

All 2024 courses from UAC’s participating institutions will be available on UAC’s website in early August.

For students who have already applied, this is a good time for them to log in to their application and review and update their preferences.

For students who haven’t yet applied, the early bird period ends on Friday 29 September, at which time the processing fee increases. Even if they’re not sure what course they want to study, they should apply before then and put in any course as a placeholder until they are ready to decide.

UAC PIN Reminder

In early August, an email will be sent to Year 12 students who haven’t applied to remind them of their UAC PIN. PINs will be emailed to the address they have registered with NESA, so they need to ensure that this is a current email address.

To start their UAC application, students will need their NESA Year 12 student number or ACT BSSS number and their UAC PIN. Once they have applied, they use their UAC application number and UAC PIN to log in and manage their application.

If students don’t have their UAC PIN email, or are having problems with their PIN, they can read the PIN FAQs or contact UAC

Early Offers

Students can apply for an early offer through UAC’s Schools Recommendation Scheme (SRS). Once they’ve completed the standard UAC application, they need to submit a separate application for SRS before 18 September.

ATAR Eligibility Changes 2025

ATAR eligibility rules are changing in 2025. Board Developed courses will no longer be classified as Category A or Category B. This means that 2023 Year 10 students will be able to study more VET framework courses and have them included in the calculation of their ATAR in 2025.

Access and Scholarship Programs

Applications for the Schools Recommendation Scheme, Educational Access Scheme and Equity Scholarships are all open and application guides are available to download.

If you have students who may be eligible for these schemes, encourage them to start their applications as soon as they’ve submitted their UAC undergraduate application.
