Some of you may ask, why are we running a café? In short, our team are currently completing a Certificate III in Financial Services. It is a VET course; however, it is HSC accredited too. Some students have decided to use this course as a pathway to University, TAFE or employment in the Financial field ie: accountants, banking or running their own finances in their preferred trade. Being involved in the café prepares students for the workforce, practising employability skills such as communication, teamwork, self-management along with financial skills including costing, bookkeeping and accounting.
