Years 7 and 8
The boys were down a couple of players this week in our game against St Peter’s at Tuggerah, but they didn’t let that stop them from taking the win. They were a little rusty to begin with, letting in a few tries, but the boys focused on clear communication and managed to turn the game around. The end result was 10-4, with St Edward’s coming out on top again. Next week in the Grand Final against St Augustine’s, we are focusing on structured plays, clear communication, and strong defence. Well done to the boys on their hard work and efforts!

Years 9 and 10
A new day and totally different weather conditions to deal with. The boys not only battled St Peter’s but a very strong cross wind that made both handling and long passes difficult. However, to their credit they quickly adapted to the conditions and went about controlling the tempo of the game. Time and again they were able to repel St Peter’s and drive the ball down field and either put St Peter’s under pressure or score. We continued our winning way with a comfortable 10-1 win.
The team consisted of Sebastian Plaister (c), Zane Smith, Jonah Wright, Leith van Aalderen, Tyrone Dorrell, Sean Bullen, Calan Tucker, Tommo Peters, Charlie Cartwright, Will Hodder, Aymn Hamilton, Kieran Diamond and Elliot Sterland.
