They were warmly welcomed by our dedicated teachers and enthusiastic Year 10 student helpers, setting the stage for a memorable day ahead.
The day commenced in the Edmund Rice Centre, where our Principal, Mr Bonnici, extended a heartfelt welcome to the students, encouraging them to embrace the opportunities that lay before them.
A series of engaging activities awaited the students, providing them with a first-hand glimpse into life as an ‘Eddies’ young man:
Science: Students witnessed captivating demonstrations designed to spark their curiosity and love for discovery.
Art: Creativity flourished as students explored various artistic techniques under the guidance of our talented teachers.
Music: Led by our music teachers and student musicians, students experimented with instruments and even participated in a short performance.
Woodwork: Hands-on learning took centre stage as students acquired basic woodworking skills, crafting a simple project to take home.
PDHPE: Physical activity and teamwork were the focus in an energetic session designed to promote fitness and collaboration.
Library Learning Centre: Students explored the College’s extensive library, discovering the wealth of resources available to support their future learning.
As the day came to a close, students left with smiles on their faces, new friendships formed, and a sense of excitement for the journey ahead.
