On Wednesday, 4 March, our students gathered to acknowledge the beginning of Lent and reflect on its significance within the liturgical year.
Lent is a sacred 40-day journey that starts on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday. During this time, Catholics are called to deepen their understanding of Jesus’ suffering, death, and Resurrection at Easter.
This season invites Catholics to reflect on moments where they may have struggled to love God, their neighbour, and themselves, while seeking opportunities for healing and renewal.
