The St Edward’s Black side was led by Fraser Boake and they started the day with a strong win against Gorokan High School, 7 tries to 0. The following game against Erina High School also resulted in a convincing win where everyone contributed, ending up with a 6 tries to 0 victory. These great results propelled the team into the grand final where they met Central Coast Sports College. The stage was set for a blockbuster and it didn’t disappoint, with both teams playing amazing rugby in an entertaining and physical match. Unfortunately for our side, the result didn’t go our way, with the opposition proving too strong, winning 6 tries to 2.
The team now turn their attention to the upcoming Broken Bay Tournament where they hope to continue to improve and, hopefully, come home with the trophy.
