Over the past weeks, our community came together in an inspiring display of determination and teamwork. With 88 students and staff participating, we collectively completed an astounding 99,166 push-ups. This incredible effort helped us raise $3,362 for a worthy cause. Some of our students who raised the highest amounts were: Zach Sammut, Jamie Hennessy, Finn Van Aalderen, George Barry, Xavier Gerritsen and Jude Mathey.
The challenge was more than just a test of physical endurance; it was a testament to our spirit and solidarity. Each push-up represented our commitment to making a difference, and the funds raised will go a long way in supporting our chosen charity.
One of our participants, Alex, shared his thoughts: “Participating in the Push Up Challenge was an amazing experience. It was incredible to see everyone come together and push their limits for such a great cause. I’m proud to be part of this community!”
Did you know? Push-ups are not just a great exercise for the arms and chest; they also engage multiple muscle groups, including the core and lower body. There are over 50 variations of push-ups, such as clapping push-ups, diamond push-ups, and Spiderman push-ups.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, cheered, and donated. Your enthusiasm and dedication have made this event a resounding success. Let’s continue to build on this momentum and strive for even greater achievements in the future!
Keep pushing forward!
