Injured Students and Friday Activity Attendance
13.06.25
If a student is injured and unable to participate in their regular Friday activity, there are a few options available.

These are designed to ensure students remain engaged and continue to take responsibility for their learning and behaviour during this time:

  1. Attend and observe their scheduled sport activity: Students are encouraged to support their homeroom class by attending and observing their usual activity. They are expected to remain with their group, behave appropriately, and follow staff instructions throughout the session.
  2. Work independently in the library: Students may choose to work quietly in the library alongside senior students. This option is best suited to those who are able to manage their time effectively and work independently on classwork, revision, or reading. No formal lessons are offered during this time. This must be arranged in advance through their Pastoral Leader.
  3. Go home at lunchtime (with prior arrangement): In some cases due to the nature of the injury, families may prefer to collect their son at lunchtime. This must be arranged in advance through their son’s pastoral leader, and students are expected to leave the campus promptly and responsibly under the direct supervision of a parent.

We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all students.
