Carer Gateway Counselling Service, is a free phone counselling service for unpaid Carers across Australia. The service forms part of the Carer Gateway suite of services which are detailed on the website at www.carergateway.gov.au

Phone counselling is available 8am to 6pm nationally on weekdays. Carers can also access one-on-one counselling or group counselling, contact details on the website.

Carer Gateway also provide counsellors who speak languages other than English, and they use Translating and Interpreting Services.  Counsellors have also received Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid training and have experience in working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander carers.
