1st year apprentice CNC Machinist starting Jan 2020
We are a market leader in CNC Machining and provide services for the medical, defence, mining and scientific sectors.
The position would greatly suit a HSC graduate that is interested in engineering and wishes to get a head start in the workforce rather than enter into a university degree.
Our modern facility is located in Somersby 2250 and the work is heavily computer based – components are modelled on the latest CAD/CAM software then coding is generated and transferred to our multi axis CNC machines where they manufacture the component.
The applicant will need to show interest and past results in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Technical subjects ( wood or metal)
- Computer skills (3D modelling/printing a big advantage)
- Design and technology
