On Thursday, 25 September, the St Edward’s College community gathered in the ERC for a heartfelt Farewell Assembly to honour the Year 12 graduating class of 2025. Staff, students, and families came together to celebrate not only the culmination of high school but also the remarkable achievements of these young men during their time at the College.
The event was filled with nostalgia and pride as the College community celebrated the academic excellence and resilience of the Year 12 students. We honoured their outstanding achievements across a range of subjects, recognising both first and second place recipients.
Towards the end of the assembly the major award recipients were announced including the College Dux. We are proud to announce Liam Best is the 2025 College Dux. A huge congratulations to Liam and all the Award Recipients.
After receiving a standing ovation from the College community, the College Leaders proceeded to the official tree planting ceremony, a long-standing College tradition, at the lower grounds of the College. This fulfilled their final duty as St Edward’s students and marked their induction into the College Old Boys’ Union.
