Conceived as a variety concert, the Performing Arts Showcase aimed to highlight the excellence in performance across our Central Coast Catholic High Schools. The program featured vocalists, ensembles, drama, and instrumental performances from students representing St Brigid’s Catholic College, St Edward’s College, St Joseph’s Catholic College, MacKillop Catholic College, and St Peter’s Catholic College. Each school nominated four polished performance items, creating a diverse program that included Drama, Music, and Musical Theatre. The performances ranged from exquisite solo and small ensemble pieces covering Classical to Contemporary Rock and Pop, as well as large vocal and drama ensembles.

This event provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase the incredible work being nurtured in our Secondary Catholic Schools and the immense talent of our students. It allowed them to shine in front of their peers and the wider community.

Both evenings were incredibly well attended, and the performances were spectacular. It was a fantastic opportunity for students and teachers to collaborate, fostering a real sense of community among our performers and schools.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our Performing Arts faculty for their dedication and effort in making this event a polished and seamless experience for both performers and the audience. Additionally, the Vet Entertainment students played an integral role, completing valuable work placement hours on a live production, including lighting, vision, follow spot operation, and working side of stage.
