Earlier this term, all Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 French students competed in the Education Perfect Language Championships, and what a success it has been! With 423 schools involved across regional and metropolitan NSW, St Edward’s finished in 2nd place overall, which is an incredible achievement. Our French students showed great determination, resilience and wonderful school spirit, competing not only against each other, pushing themselves to improve their vocabulary retention and recall, but they also supported and cheered one another on in the race to obtain more accuracy points against the other schools competing.
We also ranked first for French with the highest average point score per student amongst all the other schools.
The French department are incredibly proud of the effort and dedication Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 have put into this competition, showing their love of languages and learning.
