We congratulate Year 11 student Shaylan Bennett, who has recently been accepted for 2028, to begin an exciting journey towards studying and playing golf at a university in the United States through Study & Play USA.
A talented golfer, Shaylan has enjoyed significant success both locally and nationally in recent years, earning recognition through his strong performances in competitions across Australia.
Study & Play USA, which has assisted Australian student-athletes for more than two decades, highlighted the importance of well-rounded students in the US college system and commended St Edward’s College for supporting Shaylan’s development as a student, athlete, and young person.
We look forward to following Shaylan’s progress over the coming years as he works towards combining his academic and sporting ambitions on the international stage.
