Congratulations to Year 8 student Eli Smith, who represented the Central Coast at the Australian National Speed Cubing Championships in Melbourne during the school holidays.
Competing against more than 500 of Australia's top speed cubers, Eli was one of only three competitors from the Central Coast. He took part in eight events, including the challenging one-handed cube solve.
Eli achieved outstanding personal bests in the 3x3x3 event, recording a fastest solve of 13.94 seconds and an impressive average time of 15.68 seconds across multiple solves. His dedication, focus and determination are a fantastic achievement, and we congratulate him on representing both his region and St Edward's College with pride.
