7St Edward’s maintains as a fundamental responsibility, the care, safety and well-being of children and young people. Central to the mission of the College is an absolute commitment to fostering the dignity, self-esteem and integrity of children and young people entrusted to our care.

 

Creating a safe and supportive learning environment in which students are challenged, nurtured and inspired to reach their potential, spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially is paramount.  We are committed to embedding an organisational structure of child safety, continuously reviewing and improving our child protection policies and procedures.

The College’s child safety policies and procedures complements the EREA Code of Conduct which details, clarifies and affirms the standards of behaviour expected for members of the Edmund Rice Education Australia community, including members of the College community.

The College’s Child Safety Officer is the Director of Pastoral Care.
