Year 9 Marine Studies
30.07.18
Year 9 Marine Studies have been learning the biology of fish and part of this has been a study of the mullet.

This involved dissections of the head, gills and gut. A smelly process but also a great opportunity to learn and gain an appreciation for the complexity of these organisms and how they are adapted to their environment.

A big thank you from both classes to Darron’s Seafood in Wamberal, who have donated all the mullet and fish heads used by Marine Studies and Year 11 Biology this year. They have been sensational.
