The boys caught the school bus up to Kariong, jumped on mountain bikes and navigated their own way through Brisbane Water National Park (they only got lost a couple of times), down to Point Clare. On the way, some groups stopped off to appreciate the intriguing hieroglyphics carved into the sandstone.
At Point Clare the groups had lunch and abseiled behind the cemetery. The boys then walked down to the waterfront, launched their 2 man kayaks and paddled back to school. Some shallow water caused some fun ‘kayak dragging mud’ episodes, and wind caused some hefty chop in the face and burning deltoids!
Great effort from the PDHPE staff and students alike.
