The day started with a draw against Coffs Harbour, which unfortunately made a few heads drop after they initially thought that it was a game which they could have won.
The next match, against Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School from Tamworth, was a tough encounter played predominately in the forwards; a style which suited our opponents. The game ended with Farrer winning 7-0 meaning the side would be playing off against Nowra High for 5th place.
Whether it was the frustration of thinking ‘what might have been?’ or possibly the knowledge that this was to be their last game for St Edward’s, our boys played an inspired match to storm home with a 26-0 victory.
All players contributed throughout the day and it was great to see smiles and cheers ringing out for the Black and Red of St Eddies!
Thanks you to Mr Steele and Mr Foster for your support on the day.
