Senior Dance Workshops Years 9 and 10 – 
Apply by 11 April

The NSW Public Schools Senior Dance Workshops is a 3-day intensive workshop for students in Years 9 and 10. These workshops are an excellent opportunity for students to be involved in a challenging and stimulating dance education program. Tuition is provided by industry trained tutors and will focus on developing strength, technical ability and composition skills in a professional setting. Participation is open to dance students attending government and central schools in NSW.

State Junior and Senior Music Camps

  • Junior Music Camp (Years 5-8): Sunday 21 July – Friday 26 July (week 1, Term 3)
  • Senior Music Camp (Years 8-12): Sunday 30 June – Friday 5 July (week 10, Term 2)

Talented music students join together for one week each year to receive expert tutelage and develop their performance skills. Participants rehearse and perform high quality repertoire culminating in a concert for families and friends on the final night of the camp.

Musical activities at camp include participation in a major ensemble (symphony orchestra, symphonic bands, vocal ensembles, stage band) as well as a number of elective ensembles and activities. Elective activities include brass and woodwind ensembles, jazz improvisation, composition, music theatre, percussion ensemble.
