Tahj Regattieri

An outstanding CCC Swimming Carnival for Tahj Regattieri in Year 10. Tahj placed 2nd in the Under 16's 50 m Butterfly, 2nd in the Under 16 100 m Backstroke, 2nd in the Under 16 100 m Butterfly and 1st in the Under 16 50 m Backstroke. He was also a member of the Intermediate Medley Relay team placing 3rd. An incredible day in the pool Tahj!

Cooper Armstrong

Congratulations to Cooper Armstrong, in Year 8 and a rookie member of the Terrigal Surf Lifesaving Club, for his recent involvement in a surf rescue between Terrigal and Wamberal Beaches. While on roving patrol with another rookie club member, Cooper swiftly responded to an alert from a member of the public on a surfboard. Cooper and his club mate effectively assisted two struggling swimmers caught in a rip, maintaining composure and ensuring the safety of the patients, keeping them above water, until IRB assistance arrived. One of the patients was having breathing difficulties after swallowing a large amount of water and was later transported via Ambulance. This outstanding achievement by Cooper exemplifies excellent use of skills acquired through SLS training. A great effort Cooper and one to be extremely proud of.

SLS Silver Medal

Congratulations to Zac Donnelly, Riley Herring, and Beau McKeon, all in Year 7 and competing for Terrigal Surf Lifesaving Club, for their remarkable achievement of winning the silver medal at the NSW State Surf Lifesaving Championships in the Under 12 Beach Sprint Relay. This accomplishment is a testament to their dedication, skill, and hard work in surf lifesaving. It's truly commendable that this is the fourth consecutive year these talented boys have secured a medal in this event, showcasing their consistent excellence in team work and commitment to their sport. Well done to Zac, Riley, and Beau for their outstanding performance.

State Oztag

Congratulations to four of our students who recently completed in the NSW State Cup Oztag Tournament: Max Portass in Year 7, Mitchell Stretton in Year 7, Rocco Roycroft in Year 7 and Sean Mahoney in Year 8. Harvey Campbell

Harvey Campbell, in Year 7, has earned a coveted spot in the Skate Australia Team. Harvey is all set to represent Australia at the upcoming Skateboarding World Championships in Dubai, scheduled to take place later this month. The Skateboarding World Championships, a globally recognized event in the skateboarding community, will not only be a platform for showcasing Harvey's exceptional skills but will also serve as a qualifier for the Olympic team. This remarkable achievement highlights Harvey's dedication, hard work, and outstanding prowess in the field of skateboarding. As Harvey embarks on this exciting journey to Dubai, we wish him success at the championships.

Kaine Hieber

Congratulations to Kaine Hieber, Year 11, and current member of the New South Wales Karate team. Kaine recently showcased his exceptional skills in the selection trials for the Australian Karate team, marking a significant milestone in his budding athletic career. Kaine's dedication, discipline, and outstanding performance earned him the opportunity to vie for a coveted position in the prestigious Australian Karate team. Junior Surf Lifesaver of the Year

Congratulations to three of our students: Seamus Meares in Year 8 from the Wamberal SLS Club, Henry Skinner in Year 8 from MacMasters SLS Club and Tam Johnston in Year 9 from Ocean Beach SLS Club. Kale Puata

Congratulations to Kale Puata in Year 12, in gaining the highest attainable rank as Cadet Under Officer (CUO) with 3 Wing Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) at RAAF Base Richmond in the school holidays. This promotional course focuses on personal development, management related subjects and leadership skills designed to give the cadet experience in the role as an officer. Kale attends Air Force Cadets (AFC) locally at 311 (City of Gosford) Squadron where he is a Training Officer for young cadets. An outstanding achievement Kale.

John James

Congratulations to John James, College Prefect, for his remarkable achievements in cricket. John has been selected in the Under 17 NSW State cricket squad for the Nationals competition. We wish John continued success on his cricket journey.

Matthew Frost-Foster

Congratulations to Matthew Frost-Foster who embarked on an incredible journey to Japan during the school holidays, where he had the honor of training with Sensei Hidetada Ishiki, a renowned Okinawa Kobudo Master. In addition to this invaluable experience, he also had the opportunity to showcase his skills at the Okinawa Prefecture Kobudo Tournament. Kobudo is a traditional Okinawan martial art that focuses on the use of various weapons. In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, Matthew emerged victorious in his division, competing with the Bo. This remarkable achievement builds on his previous success in the global Ryukyu online championship for Bo last year. Matthew is a dedicated competitor, training in a variety of weapons at BBMA Gosford. His impressive accomplishments are a testament to his commitment and passion for martial arts. As he approaches his HSC year, he aspires to continue representing his skills on an international stage, showcasing his talent and determination to the world.

Mathis Limpkin

Congratulations to Mathis Limpkin in Year 10, who was a member of the Northern NSW Under 16 Futsal team that took part in the National School Futsal Championship held in Brisbane during the school holidays. With unwavering determination and exceptional teamwork, Mathis and the team remained undefeated throughout the tournament, showcasing their remarkable skills and sportsmanship. Charlie Jordan and Cooper Armstrong

Congratulations to Charlie Jordan in Year 7 and Cooper Armstrong in Year 7 for their outstanding performance as they represented Central Coast at the NSW Rugby Union Country Championships recently in Yamba. Their dedication and skill on the rugby field truly shone through. The NSW Rugby Union Country Championships is a highly competitive event, and Charlie and Cooper's commitment to their team and their sport is commendable. They showcased their talent, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament, and it's no surprise that they contributed significantly to their team's success of fourth-place. Harrison Mitchell

Congratulations are in order for Harrison Mitchell in Year 12, who has achieved an exceptional feat. After the recent 2023 Australian Karting Championship held in Melbourne, Harry has solidified his position as the 3rd best Kart racer in Australia within his class of X30. This accomplishment is nothing short of extraordinary and speaks volumes about Harrison's dedication and skill in the world of Kart racing. To earn this prestigious ranking, Harrison embarked on an arduous journey through the Australian Karting Championships, which consisted of five challenging rounds held in different states across Australia within a field of 77 competitors from Australia and New Zealand. We commend Harrison for his exceptional achievement and look forward to witnessing his continued success as he undoubtedly has a promising future in the world of motorsports. James Beatson and Kale Puata

Congratulations to James Beatson and Kale Puata, both Year 11 students who are embarking on incredible journeys of personal growth and leadership. James will be taking on the Kokoda Track challenge on 14 September, supported by Wamberal SLSC as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Award. Likewise, Kale Puata will be participating in the Kokoda Track challenge through the RSL's Kokoda Youth Leadership Challenge on 26 October. Joshua Judd

Congratulations to Joshua Judd in Year 12 who has been selected to receive a Youth Community Service Award by the NSW Branch of the Order of Australia Association. The Award recognises NSW senior High School students who have shown commendable service to their local communities. Some of Joshua's notable examples of his service include: Service at Coast Shelter; Service as a Surf Life Saver at Macmasters Beach SLSC; Service to local nursing homes; over 100 hours of community service each year between 2018 and 2023. Joshua will be presented with the award by Her Excellency, The Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of NSW at a ceremony at Government House in September. An outstanding achievement Joshua.

Jayden Redfern

Congratulations to Jayden Redfern in Year 12, who recently competed in the Sharkskin Surf Life Saving Australian IRB Championships at Kingscliff. Jayden, together with Old Boy Jacob Curcio, won a gold medal in the Under 23 Tube Rescue event. An outstanding achievement Jayden.

Noah Nakagawa

Congratulations to Noah Nakagawa in Year 12, for breaking the College Athletics record in the Opens 100 m sprint at the recent athletics carnival. Noah achieved a remarkable time of 11.37 seconds. This is truly an outstanding accomplishment, Noah.

Harrison Mitchell

Congratulations to Harrison Mitchell in Year 12, who recently competed in the 3rd round of the Australian Karting Championships in Newcastle. Harrison placed first in the final of his class of X30 after placing 1st, 2nd and two 4ths in heats over the weekend. An outstanding effort Harrison.

Kalen Hogan

Congratulations to Kalen Hogan in Year 12, who has recently released his debut album Isolation which is available on Spotify. This is a great achievement for Kalen who is growing in confidence as a performer and as a sensitive song writer.

Kale Puata

Congratulations to Kale Puata in Year 11 who has been successful in gaining a scholarship by RSL and Services Clubs Association to participate in the Kokoda Youth Leadership Challenge in September. The program is designed for young community leaders with the view to strengthen their skills and attitudes to the challenges of management. The program involves an arduous 10 day trek across the original Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea, presentations at significant battle sites and discussions on sacrifice, courage, mateship, endurance and leadership. It provides participants with a practical leadership experience based on the achievements and sacrifice of our diggers during the Kokoda campaign. An outstanding achievement Kale, we wish you well for the trek in September.

Jack McCormack

Congratulations to Jack McCormack in Year 8 who assisted with the set up at the Telstra/CSIRO STEM careers exhibition recently. Not only did Jack help on the day, he also had the opportunity to participate in the day's activities. A great day to learn and also earn some Waterford Hours.

Under 14’s Rep Cricket

Congratulations to Hugh Wheeler in Year 8, Hayden Fearnley in Year 9 and Levi Papps in Year 9 who played in the Under 14's State Cricket Championships during the school holidays. The Central Coast Under 14's Representative team became the top NSW country team when they defeated the ACT earlier this month, they then defeated Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hills in the State Grand Final held at Raby Oval. Riley Turner and Sam Flakus

Congratulations to Riley Turner and Sam Flakus, both in Year 10, who were recently selected in the Under 16's Australian Tagaroos team. They will compete for Australian in December. A great achievement boys, we wish you well in the upcoming competition.

Tahj Regattieri and Eden Pearson

Congratulations to Tahj Regattieri and Eden Pearson, both in Year 9, who recently medalled at the NSW Surf Lifesaving Championships held at Queenscliff/Nth Steyne in March. The boys were Bronze Medallists in the Under 15's Male Board Rescue, representing Wamberal SLSC. They have participated in this event together since Under 11's, had a few 4th places but finally bought home the medal. Great effort boys!

Deakin Wright

Congratulations to Deakin Wright in Year 10, who competed in the NSW State Surf Lifesaving titles at Manly and won Gold in the Under 17’s 2 km beach run. An outstanding accomplishment Deakin. Deakin also competed at the National Surf Lifesaving titles in Western Australia and won a Silver medal in the Under 17's, 2 x 1 km beach relay. Congratulations Deakin.

Cooper Jones

Congratulations to Cooper Jones in Year 10, who recently competed at the NSW Junior State Athletics Championships. He qualified for the Under 16’s 400m final. Cooper placed 6th (in the state) with a time of 51:74, beating the national qualifying time which was 52:14. This means that he now travels to Brisbane in April to represent NSW at the Australian Junior Track and Field Championships. An outstanding achievement Cooper, we wish you well in Brisbane.

Harrison Mitchell

Congratulations to Harrison Mitchell in Year 12 on his 10th placing in Round 1 (Friday 3 – Sunday 5 March) of the Australian Kart Championships in Monarto, South Australia. Harrison raced across 5 races, accumulating points that would determine the overall round result. He currently races in the Senior division (16 and above) of the X30 (highest level in Australian Karting), with 52 competitors in the division. The highlight of the weekend for Harry was his 3rd placing in the 4th race (pre-final). Unfortunately, he was bumped out of contention at the first corner in the Final and battled mechanical issues for the remainder of the race. However, his consistency across the weekend saw him gain a Top 10 finish. Harry has further races this year on the following dates: Round 2 – April 21-23 – Tiger Kart Club, Wanneroo, WA Round 3 – June 2-4 – Newcastle Kart Racing Club, Newcastle, NSW Round 4 – July 14-16 – Ipswich Kart Club, Ipswich, QLD Round 5 – August 25-27 – Go-Kart Club of Victoria, Melbourne, VIC

Logan Mercieca

Congratulations to Logan Mercieca in Year 11 who recently took part in the Animals of War Commemoration Ceremony at Ourimbah. Logan is a member of the Air Force Cadets and was part of the Flag and Cenotaph Party during the ceremony. A great achievement Logan.

John James

Congratulations to John James in Year 11 on his recent selection in the NSWCCC Open Boys Cricket team. The team will compete at the NSW All Schools Cricket Championships in Barooga. A great achievement John, we wish you well in the upcoming Championships.

Harry Evans and Tasman Holliday

Congratulations to Harry Evans in Year 8 and Tasman Holliday in Year 8 who were recently nominated as finalists for the Junior Lifesaver of the Year Award at the Central Coast Age Championships. The award is a great opportunity for clubs to recognize their young lifesavers and acknowledge their commitments to the Surf Life Saving movement and involvement in community volunteering.

Lincoln Markulin

Lincoln Markulin in Year 11 competed at the All Schools Athletics carnival late last year and continued his good run from the Broken Bay and NSWCCC carnivals by claiming a Bronze medal in the Javelin with a throw of 51.98 m. He narrowly missed selection in the NSW team, with only the top 2 placegetters progressing. Congratulations Lincoln an outstanding accomplishment.

Liam Roche

Congratulations to Liam Roche in Year 11, on his selection in the Under 17's NSW Country Cricket team. The team will play at the National Championships in January. An outstanding achievement Liam, we wish you well for the upcoming Championships.

Harry Cockerton

Congratulations to Harry Cockerton in Year 9. Harry competed in the NSW State Titles for GKR Karate recently and won a Bronze medal for individual Kata 3rd Kyu in the Under 14 to 15 years. Well done Harry a great effort.

Oztag Representatives

Congratulations to Aymn Hamilton in Year 12, Sam Flakus in Year 9 and Riley Turner in Year 9 who have been selected to play in the Australian Tagaroos Oztag Under 16's and 18's teams, they will now represent Australia at the 2023 Big 4 International Tag Series in March 2023, where they will play the Rest of the World Team. Archer Mesritz in Year 9, Darcy Smith in Year 9 and Fletcher Sommerville in Year 9 will also play for the Rest of the World team in the Under 16’s game. A great effort boys and we wish you well for the upcoming competition.

Oscar Noone

Congratulations to Oscar Noone in Year 10 for his selection in the NSW Junior Ice Hockey Team. Oscar will complete at the 2022 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League Tournament in November. We wish you luck in the upcoming Tournament Oscar.

Andrew Hansen

Congratulations to Andrew Hansen in Year 8 who recently competed in the 2022 National Youth Wrestling Championships. After qualifying to compete in the Under 14's division and winning matches throughout the competition, Andrew placed second in the final of the Championships, an outstanding achievement Andrew.

Ryan Green

Congratulations to Ryan Green who recently completed in the World Surf Lifesaving Titles (Riccione, Italy). Ryan competed for the Australian Youth Team in both the Ocean and Pool. Ryan won medals in the following: Ocean Teams - claimed gold in the Taplin, board rescue and beach relay Individually – won gold in the board race Pool Teams – silver in the 4 x 25 and 4 x 50m manikin tow Overall, the Youth team won 17 gold medals to secure 1st place. The Australian Life Saving team won the overall point score, the first nation to win both events. A phenomenal accomplishment Ryan!

Mathis Limpkin

Congratulations to Mathis Limpkin in Year 9 who recently represented NSW in the National School's Futsal Championship. At the conclusion of the championship Mathis was selected as an All Star player for the Under 16 category. An outstanding accomplishment Mathis.

Bradley Plummer

Congratulations to Bradley Plummer in Year 11, who is a cadet of the Gosford Squadron 311, Australian Air Force Cadets and who took part in the National Fieldcraft Competition (Exercise Green Eagle) in Adelaide recently. A great achievement Bradley.

Cooper, Lachlan and Daniel Herd

Congratulations to Cooper Herd in Year 7 and Lachlan Herd in Year 9, who played starring roles in Gosford Musical Society’s School of Rock Musical at Laycock Street Theatre for two weeks. Cooper played the role of guitarist Zack Mooneyham, and Lachlan played Lawrence the keyboardist. Both boys played their instruments live on stage in every performance, and their shows received standing ovations from sold-out audiences. Bravo to their brother Daniel Herd in Year 11 too, who studies Entertainment and worked backstage and in the bio box with audio-visual technicians. What a talented family! Well done boys, we can’t wait to see where your talents take you!

Charlie Ure

Congratulations to Charlie Ure in Year 7, who, along with the Central Coast Conservatorium’s Children’s Choir, performed with Opera Australia at the Art House in Wyong last month during the regional tour of Rossini’s ‘The Barber of Seville’. This was a fantastic opportunity for Charlie to perform with Opera Australia’s finest voices and a live orchestra, in an entertaining show with music that is very familiar from renditions in movies, cartoons and commercials! Well done Charlie

Kale Puata

Congratulations to Kale Puata in Year 10 who is one of 12 impressive and inspiring young people from across the state to be appointed to the 2022-23 Youth Advisory Council, which will provide advice to NSW Government during its one-year term. Throughout the one-year term, the Youth Advisory Council will be supported in its work by the Advocate for Children and Young People, Zoë Robinson. Juan Jose Rodriguez Caldas, Will Conroy, Tristan Pearce-Maitland

On Saturday 10 September, Tristan Pearce-Maitland in Year 8, Will Conroy in Year 9 and Juan Jose Rodriguez Caldas in Year 10 performed in Northern Sydney Symphonic Wind Ensemble’s Spring Music Festival at The Concourse in Chatswood. This exciting 4-day event brought together musicians from many school bands across the Northern Sydney region, to showcase their impressive skills and allow them to experience the joy of performing on a professional Concert Hall stage for large appreciative audiences. Tristan, Will and Juan Jose performed two pieces with the Central Coast Conservatorium’s Symphonic Wind Orchestra, which is made up of high school musicians from across the Central Coast. Tristan was outstanding on percussion and drumkit, Will wowed on the clarinet, and Juan Jose was terrific on tenor sax. It was a great opportunity for these talented musicians, who are also members of our combined St Edward’s/St Joseph’s Concert Band. A fantastic achievement boys.

Max Leaitua

Congratulations to Max Leaitua in Year 10, who was recently selected in the NSW Waratahs Under 15's Generation Blue (Yellow) Rugby Union squad. Max will play in the Under 15 Generation Blue Cup on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September in Camden with a hope of being selected in the Under 15 NSW team. All games will be streamed on NSW Rugby TV. A great achievement Max, we wish you well in the upcoming game.

Christian Rose

Congratulations to Christian Rose in Year 12, who has recently been awarded the Order of Australia Commendation Medal by the Governor of NSW. Christian’s commitment to social justice and community is outstanding. He has been a Life Member and Youth Committee representative for Central Coast Ugnay Kabayan group (United People Inc) since 2012. Christian supports programs which aim to deal with issues such as low-cost accommodation, anti-domestic violence advocacy support especially for women and youth. His contributions include providing technical assistance, participation at cultural festivals and promoting future events. His support has been invaluable for people settling into a new life in Australia. His commitment has been focused and consistent throughout. An outstanding accomplishment Christian.

Tristan Pearce-Maitland, Will Conroy, Oliver Pringle

On 17 August, Tristan Pearce-Maitland in Year 8, Will Conroy in Year 9 and Oliver Pringle in Year 9 performed at The Art House in Wyong with Sydney’s Scots College students, as part of a collaboration between the Central Coast Conservatorium’s Premier Ensembles and The Scots College music faculty and orchestras. It was a great opportunity for these talented musicians, who are all members of our combined St Edward’s/St Joseph’s Concert Band. They played in a piece called “Legend of Devil’s Lake” by Michael Sweeney, which depicts an ancient tale of battle between water serpents and giant thunderbirds, featuring Tristan and Oliver on percussion and Will on clarinet… Bravo boys!

Ryan Green

Congratulations to Ryan Green in Year 12, who has been selected to represent Australia as a member of the Australian Youth Lifesaving Team to compete at the World Lifesaving Championships in Riccione, Italy in September this year. This is an outstanding achievement and acknowledgement of his huge commitment to training, competing and community service over the past few years. We wish Ryan luck in the upcoming World Championships.

Jayden Redfern

Congratulations to Jayden Redfern in Year 11 who has been been selected as a winner in the 2022 Edstart Achievement Awards Program in the Sport and Physical Wellbeing category. Now in its second year, the program recognises students for their contributions and ambitions across six award categories including technology, entrepreneurship, sustainability, sport and arts. Jayden was selected out of hundreds of nominations from across Australia by a panel of judges including the CEOs of the Australian Heads of Independent Schools Association (AHISA) and Australian Boarding Schools Association (ABSA). As a winner, Jayden will receive an award and a $1,500 grant towards his initiative. An outstanding accomplishment Jayden.

Alex Lara

Congratulations to Alex Lara in Year 11, who competed in the Powerlifting 3 Winter Cup recently. Alex lifted a total of 500 kg during the day and has now qualified for the 2022 IPL World Championships in Surfers Paradise in November. An outstanding effort Alex and we wish you well in the World Championships.

Youth Rock 2022

On Saturday the fabulous "Room 72" represented St Edward's in the semi finals of Youth Rock 2022 held at Bankstown. The band, consisting of James Nilsson, Charlie Jacobson and Sacha Byrne, was sensational! They performed a 20 minute set of original pieces to a very appreciative audience which included industry execs who were extremely impressed with their talent .Youth Rock is an annual state-wide event highlighting the cream of NSW high school bands who perform original rock music. The event was an excellent opportunity for the boys to further showcase their considerable talents. We are very proud of them.

A Family of Old Boys!

Keeping it in the family, theirs and ours! The Ristuccia family old boys and future student took part in the recent Bay to Bay run. Grandfather Tom, who is a staff member as well as an old boy 1964 to 1969; his son Robert who an old boy 1995 to 2000 and Rowan who will keep the St Edward's tradition going in 2033, competed as a family in the charity run. We love to hear from our old boys, great work team.

NSW Country Rugby Champions

Congratulations to Reggie Gooley in Year 8, Angus Stewart in Year 8, Sam Tracey in Year 9, Alex McCoombe-Lopez in Year 9, Listoa Paea in Year 9 and Thomas Smith in Year 9 who recently competed in the NSW Country and State Rugby Union Championships. The boys were representing the Central Coast in the Under 14's Representative Team and won the Under 14's NSW Country Championships and placed 4th in the Under 14's NSW Rugby Union State Cup in extremely cold and muddy conditions. Congratulations to Kale Puata in Year 10, who has been selected in the final stage of the NSW Youth Advisory Council (YAC) 2022. The 12 member YAC meet regularly throughout the year and play an important role in advising the NSW Government on issues that are relevant to young people across the state. Congratulations to Wilheim Hieber in Year 12 and Kaine Hieber in Year 9 who were recently selected to represent Australia at the Oceania Championships for Karate in New Caledonia in June 2022. An outstanding achievement by these two brothers. We wish them well at the Championships.

Daniel McLoughlin

Another outstanding achievement by Daniel McLoughlin in Year 12, who, after his great result at national age swimming championships in April, has been selected in the Australian Junior Dolphins Swim Team. Daniel will now compete in the Junior Pan Pacifics in Hawaii this August. Congratulations Daniel, we wish you well in your upcoming swimming competitions.

Ryan Green

Congratulations to Ryan Green, in Year 12, who won GOLD in the Under 19’s board race at the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships held in North Kirra and Kurrawa beach recently. His event had a total of 99 participants, with 17 competitors in the final. He won being one of the younger competitors in the event, making his win even more impressive. James Nilsson

James Nilsson in Year 11 plays clarinet in the Air Force Cadets. In the upcoming holidays he is going on a band camp at Richmond Airbase, which will culminate in a performance at the ANZAC Day march in the city. Last year he performed on the grounds of Government House for the Governor of NSW. James is a fine representative of our school; we are so proud of him and his dedication to music.

At the recent BBSSSA Swimming Carnival the following students achieved outstanding results: The Senior Medley Relay Team broke the BBSSSA 4 x 50 m record with a time of 1.56.51. Mathis Limpkin

Congratulations to Mathis Limpkin in Year 9 who represented Northern NSW at the National Futsal Championships in January on the Gold Coast. Mathis and his team made it to the final and came runners up in the Under 14 category. Australia Day Awards – Ryan Green, Jayden Redfern

We are proud to announce two of our students were recognised at the recent 2022 Central Coast Australia Day Awards. Congratulations on your achievements. Sportsperson of the Year (Winner) – Ryan Green Ryan Green is an Under 17’s board and ski athlete at Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) and has recently had an outstanding Surf Life Saving Competition season at local, State and National level. Ryan has been one of Terrigal’s most successful athletes for many years and has won the Terrigal SLSC ‘Athlete of the Year’ and the ‘Surf Life Saving Central Coast Athlete of the Year.’ Ryan then went on to represent Terrigal and the Central Coast as a finalist in the NSW Surf Life Saving (SLS) Awards of Excellence. Ryan has come through the Club’s Nipper program and has gone from strength to strength in recent years. Youth of the Year (Highly Commended) – Jayden Redfern Jayden Redfern is 16 years old and a key member of the Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club. In 2021, Jayden was named Terrigal Surf Club’s Youth Volunteer of the Year and Youth Club Person of the Year. Jayden’s service and volunteer work within surf lifesaving, school and other areas of the community is beyond outstanding. He is an ambassador for the future of the Central Coast and was chosen to represent the NSW Government Regional Youth Taskforce, where he works with NSW government and local members to develop strategies that support young people on the Central Coast. Congratulations to Lincoln Markulin currently in Year 10. Late last year Lincoln competed in the All Schools Athletics Championships where he achieved Silver in 15 years Javelin with a throw of 50.18m. His throw qualified Lincoln to be part of the NSW Team at Nationals. An outstanding achievement Lincoln.

Harrison Mitchell

Congratulations to Harrison Mitchell in Year 10 who was most successful at the recent NSW State Go Kart Championships held in Newcastle. Harrison placed first in the championship final round and second overall in the premier junior league class of KA2, Harrison also placed third in the championship for class KA3 junior. Mrs Abbot-Atchison's Year 9 English class engaged in Rap Battles that had to explore an issue that they protested. Students explored concepts such as war, the environment, racism, guns and violence, and religion. In groups, they had to transfer their understanding of poetic and literary techniques and apply this to their own rap. Wind Orchestra Brilliance

Four St Edward's College students featured in a Music concert at Gosford on Friday 25 June, just before lockdown commenced they are Juan Jose Rodriguez-Caldas in Year 9, William Conroy in Year 8, Oliver Pringle in Year 8 and Tristan Pearce-Maitland in Year 7. They are all members of the Conservatorium of Music’s ‘Symphonic Wind Orchestra’, which is made up of accomplished high school musicians from all over the Central Coast – it’s great that St Edward’s have 4 representatives in this premier ensemble. They played three pieces: Chorale from 'Concord' by Clare Grundman, 'Fanfare for the Third Planet' by Richard Saucedo, and 'Fiat Lux' by Randall Standridge, congratulations on your outstanding performance boys.

Jordan Mercado

Congratulations to Jordan Mercado in Year 12 for making the finals of the 2021 Pearl Beach Showcase (Senior Scholarship and Irvine family Piano Scholarship Concerts). Jordan has been playing the piano for 10 years. He is currently learning with Lilli Naulu, at the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music, he has achieved Grade 7 in AMEB. Jay Clarke

Congratulations to Jay Clarke in Year 9, who competed at the NSW Country Championship Athletic meeting earlier this term, Jay won three silver medals in the 100 m, 400 m and 4kg shot putt. Jay also competed at the NSW State Little Athletics Youth Championships at SOPAC and placed second in the Under 14 200 m final. Jay now progresses to the Australian Junior Athletics Championships in Sydney. We wish him well for the upcoming event.

Oliver Power

Congratulations to Oliver Power in Year 7, who has been selected as one of the top 25 athletes in Country NSW to be a part of the Basketball NSW Under 14's Talented Athlete Program for 2021. The Talented Athlete Program is a camp-based program that aims to expose selected athletes to the NSW/Australian style of play as well as providing educational opportunities in nutrition, injury prevention and effective rehabilitation exercises. Congratulations to Jay Clarke in Year 8 for his recent results at the NSW All Schools Athletics Carnival. Jay won his 13 years 200 m heat in a personal best time of 24.15 seconds, he then placed third in a very competitive 200 m final. Jay also placed second in his 13 Years 100 m heat and sixth in the final with a personal best time of 12.01 seconds. Jay's final times qualified him to represent NSW next April 2021, at The Australian Junior Athletics Championships. An outstanding achievement Jay.

NGS Super National Debating

It was another great year for our Year 9 and 10 debating team! Ikey Allen, Cameron Shaw, Daniel Herd, and Jayden Redfern are to be commended on their outstanding performances throughout the National Virtual Debate Competition. These young men debated some challenging topics and went through to the preliminary finals undefeated - they should be very proud of their accomplishments. It was a pleasure to watch these young men debate such controversial issues with confidence and resolve.

Beau Searle and Joshua Partier

Congratulations to Beau Seale and Joshua Partier who have been studying a language through NSW School of Languages in Year 11. NSW School of Languages is the only school of its type in NSW. It is the state’s largest provider of languages education via flexible blended learning programs. It offers 68 distance education courses across 12 languages, for students in Years 9 to 12. In studying by distance education students have the added advantage of individualised tuition and of developing independent learning skills, which benefits them in all phases of their future life. Beau and Joshua have both done exceptionally well this year and achieved some very pleasing results. Beau Seale has received a certificate for his 'Excellent Effort and Improvement' in the German continuers course. Joshua Partier has received a 'High Academic Achievement' in recognition of his academic excellence in Spanish Beginners.

Hayden Maher in Year 10 is participating in the 3 Course Challenge, a fundraiser for breast cancer. The cooking class will be a live-streamed event with Manu Feildel where participants will learn to cook a 3 course French meal. Sport Scholarships

Congratulations to Daniel McLoughlin in Year 10 and Fletcher Armstrong in Year 12 who recently received scholarships from the Donnica Clarke Foundation. Daniel's scholarship was awarded for swimming and Fletcher's for kayaking. We wish both students well in their future sporting endeavours.

Toby Martin

It was with great sadness that the College received news of Year 9 student, Toby Martin, who passed away peacefully on 2 July after losing his battle with leukemia, having being diagnosed just under two years ago. Toby was a wonderful young man who loved being an 'Eddie’s Boy'. He was an inspiration to all those who he came in contact with and his legacy will long be remembered at St Edward’s College. Shortly after his passing, Toby’s parents, Ros and Chris, were interviewed by A Current Affair. We encourage you to take the time to watch the short video clip below. A Current Affair Toby had a strong sense of community and social justice. Despite his own battle with leukemia, he had a dream to help others and the raise money for Central Coast Kids in Need (CCKIN). To date, the Go Fund Me page has raised close to $32 000 and will be donated to CCKIN to support other ‘kids on the coast’ with life threatening illnesses. Cead Conway

Congratulations to Cead Conway in Mrs McDonald's Year 7 class, for his outstanding work in English. Year 7 boys have been working on their writing through a unit called ‘Epic Quests’. Cead has developed a series of maps based on Ireland and his writing and visuals which set the scene for the larger body of work he will submit in Week 10 shows amazing promise. Well done, Cead. Cead's writing: The Gaelic Gladiator was from a long reign of powerful people in his land. His forefathers carried the same name and folklore is riddled with tales about them. The land of Meanbh-Chuileag and their name had a connection that gaped back an eternity. He was known throughout the lands and Europe as the Gaelic Gladiator, a fiery redheaded, strong, tall man and the very earth shook beneath his feet. His name was Cead Mile Conway, in Gaelic that meant one hundred thousand mountains. He was born in Ireland, a green, mysterious and magical land, filled with the haunting sounds of the ancestors who had walked these fields before him. The mountains and valleys had whispering winds, his town was stretched upon the coastline of south west County Clare. The land of Meanbh-Chuileag was set high on a foreboding cliff, which overlooked the Cliffs of Moher. It was a cold dark land but also filled with much beauty. It is from within these very lands that our hero will emerge.

Gold for Eddies

Jay Clarke

Congratulations to Jay Clarke in Year 8 on his recent athletics achievements. In December Jay represented Gosford Little Athletics at the Central Coast zone athletic carnival and won five Under 13 events including 100 m, 200 m, shot putt, discuss, and javelin. He placed 2nd in 400 m. At the Regional Carnival, Jay won the 400 m, placed second in the 100 m and 200 m, and 3rd in discuss. At the Mingara All Comers Athletics meet, Jay set a National Qualifier 200 m time and he will now represent NSW at the Athletics Nationals in March. He also won six events at the Under 13 Wyong All Comers Multi Combined event they were 100 m, shot putt, discuss, hurdles, 800 m and long jump. At the NSW Junior Championships at Sydney Olympic Park, Jay finished 2nd in the 200 m final, and 4th in the 100 m final. Jay also placed 4th overall in the state at the recent NSW State Combined event held in Tamworth, the events he competed in were discus, hurdles, long jump, 100 m, shot putt and 800 m. The award recognises achievements in Surf Life Saving and within the community. Kale represented North Avoca SLSC and competed against 14 other clubs from Central Coast branch. Nominees undertake a written theory paper, CPR assessment, signal paper and scenario, as well as a face to face interview with three panelists. The scores of all disciplines are then combined to deliver an overall score. Kale will now represent the Central Coast branch at NSW State Championships. Jye LeBrocq

Congratulations to Jye LeBrocq in Year 7 who recently competed in the Australian Martial Arts Championship National Titles in Port Macquarie after qualifying at the State Titles in September. Jye achieved 1st place in Sumo Competition, 4th place in Points Sparing and 5th place in Freestyle Sparing. Jye was also commended by his Sensei for his care and concern for a fellow competitor who required support. Well done Jye on this outstanding achievement.

Ronan Grattan

Congratulations to Ronan Grattan in Year 9 who was recently awarded the Central Coast Academy of Sport's Chairman's Award. Central Coast Academy of Sport Comment Ronan encompasses what the Central Coast Academy of Sport is all about. In his chosen discipline of Basketball, Ronan has made an exceptional contribution to the good name and position of the Central Coast Academy of Sport. His determination, grit and expectation that he puts on himself and his teammates' performances is second to none. Ronan always looks out for his teammates not only on the court but also the wellbeing of others off the court. Ronan led the boys squad to an outstanding result at the 2019 ClubsNSW Academy Games, his maturity and leadership to the squad was simply outstanding, he is a true credit to our region and an extremely worthy winner of the Chairman’s award.

Congratulations to Oscar Noone in Year 7 who was selected to play in the Ice Hockey International Peewee Tournament in Melbourne recently. Oscar's team won the Gold Medal at the tournament. A great effort Oscar.

Jayden Redfern

Congratulations to Jayden Redfern in Year 8 who has progressed to the NSW Semi-Final of the 2019 Voice Competition (public speaking). The competition has two parts, the first is a prepared speech outlining a solution of a world problem and the second is Question Time where impromptu questions are posed by the Judging Panel regarding the participant's speech. We have a new World Champion at the College! Congratulations to James Norman in Year 11 who returned from the recent World Weightlifting Championships as World Champion for his weight division in squat, deadlift and bench press. An outstanding achievement James.

Owen Flaherty and Sandon Smith

Congratulations to Owen Flaherty in Year 10 and Sandon Smith in Year 11 who have both been selected in Australian Touch Football Teams. Owen was selected in the Under 18 boys team and Sandon was selected in the Under 18 mixed team. They will both play in the Youth Trans-Tasman Series in Newcastle in January 2020. Daniel McLoughlin

Congratulations to Daniel McLoughlin in Year 9 who recently competed at the 2019 NSW State Short Course Swimming Championships at SOPAC. He had an outstanding meet with personal bests including three outstanding performances - placing 2nd in 200 m Butterfly, 3rd in 100 m Butterfly and 3rd in 100 m Backstroke. As a result of his outstanding performance, Daniel was selected on the 2019 Swimming NSW State Team. The State Teams Championships will be held in Canberra at the AIS in October. Both boys played extremely well in their respective age groups and stood out, to gain this very worthy selection.

Keegan Heber

Congratulations to Keegan Heber in Year 11, who has been selected by Gosford RSL Club to take part in the Kokoda Youth Leadership Challenge. Keegan will join other Central Coast students in the Kokoda trek which will take place in September. The arduous walk in the highlands of Papua New will see the students follow in the footsteps of those who fought in the Kokoda Campaign. Students also learn of the history of that campaign along the way and pass through villages where they will interact with the locals. A great achievement Keegan, we wish you well.

Daniel McLoughlin

Another outstanding result for Daniel McLoughlin in Year 9, who competed in the Hancock Prospecting Australian Age Swimming Championships in Adelaide during the holidays. Daniel competed in 10 events over the course of the week achieving 7 personal bests, particularly excelling in his two favourite events 100 m Butterfly and 200 m Butterfly. He made the finals in both events and achieved 4th place in Australia in 200 m Butterfly and 6th place in Australia in 100 m Butterfly. Congratulations Daniel on these excellent results.

Daniel McLoughlin

Congratulations to Daniel McLoughlin who was named the overall 15 years Age Champion at the recent BBSSSA Swimming Carnival. Daniel placed first in the 15 years 200 m Freestyle, 50 m Backstroke, 100 m Freestyle, 50 m Freestyle and 50 m Butterfly. Daniel also managed to break two BBSSSA records: 50 m Backstroke and 50 m Butterfly. These records have not been broken since 2004. An outstanding result for a very talented sportsman.

Noah Nakagawa

Congratulations to Noah Nakagawa in Year 8, who was recently crowned Under 13 Male State Beach Champion at the recent NSW Surf Life Saving State Age Championships held at Swansea Belmont. Noah was undefeated in his age group for Beach Sprint events in carnivals representing both the Wamberal Surf Club and the Central Coast teams throughout the season. Noah also won a Silver medal in the Under 13 Mixed Beach Relay Event and a Bronze medal in the Under 13 Male Beach Relay Event. An outstanding achievement from Noah at this major state event.

Congratulations to Samuel Packer in Year 8, who was recently selected in the Australian Alpine Ski Team to represent Australia at the Whistler Cup in April 2019. The McKenzie Investments Whistler Cup is considered one of the most prestigious Alpine Ski youth race events in the world. There are 27 countries competing this year from Europe, USA and the Southern Hemisphere ski countries. An outstanding achievement, we wish Samuel luck in his upcoming events.

Callum Sutton

Congratulations to Callum Sutton in Year 12 who was recently crowned the Australian Champion of the 2018/19 Australian Ocean Racing Series, Open Men’s Proneboard category. Callum won the Proneboard division of the Manly Wharf Bridge to Beach race (12 kms) which gave him the overall point score win in the series. The win was Callum's 4th in the series together with wins in the Pacifica Downwinder - Coffs Harbour (28 kms), Moon Island Classic - Blacksmiths Beach (14 kms), and the Stewart Chucky Stewart Memorial - Long Reef (8 kms). Callum also came 2nd at the 20 Beaches Ocean Classic - Northern Beaches (20 kms) and 3rd in the Gold Coast Classic- Gold Coast (18 kms). In addition Callum also won a Bronze medal at the NSW Athletics Championships in the U20 Men’s Discus final. Outstanding achievements from a very talented sportsman.

Daniel is now the College record holder for Intermediate, 200 m Freestyle with a time of 2:04:53 minutes as well as Under 15's, 50 m Backstroke with a time of 30:25 seconds. James broke the record for Junior 65 kg range - Deadlift, lifting 175 kg, this has now qualified him for the Oceanic Games in April this year. Congratulations to Jayden Redfern in Year 8 who has recently been selected as a member of the NSW Youth Advisory Council for 2019. The NSW Youth Advisory Council plays an important role in advising the NSW Government on issues that are relevant to young people across the state and has 12 members between the ages of 12 and 24. The Council meets regularly throughout the year to provide advice to the Minister responsible for Youth, the Hon Ray Williams MP and the NSW Advocate for Children and Young People, Mr Andrew Johnson on issues, policies and laws that affect children and young people in NSW.

Congratulations to William Frost-Foster in Year 8, who is currently competing in the Sydney Indoor Bouldering series, supervised by Sport Climbing Australia, and recently achieved first placing in his age group at an event held at Climbfit, Sydney. Will is currently leading the Sydney Indoor Bouldering series for his age group, with two first places, a second and third placing, with one event to go in December which will decide the series. Oska Davis

Congratulations to Oska Davis in Year 7 who was recently named the Central Coast Express Advocate's Junior Sports Star in the Individual Category. Oska is a NSW and Australian record holder for game fishing, and has previously won the state award for the Game Fishing Association of Australia’s heaviest catch — the highest and most prestigious award for the sport in Australia. Oska also has seven club records and a 15 to one award for the capture of a mako shark weighing in excess of fifteen times the breaking strain of the line.

Owen Flaherty and Benjamin Dufficy

Congratulations to Owen Flaherty and Benjamin Dufficy, both in Year 9, who recently represented NSW All Schools at the Australian All Schools Touch Football Championships in Hobart Tasmania. Owen and Ben played in the NSW Under 15 Boys team and played in a week of games against the various other state teams. The NSW team played QLD in the Grand Final and finished second in Australia.

Congratulations to Ikey Allen of Year 8 for coming first in the Josie Mitchell Public Speaking Competition for the second year running. A fantastic effort! Congratulations to Cameron Steer in Year 9 who completed in the All Schools Athletics Carnival in the last week of Term 3. Cameron won silver in the 100 m and was selected to compete at the National Championships in Cairns in December for both 100 m and the relay. Logan Pugsley

Congratulations to Logan Pugsley in Year 10, who recently completed a 100 km cycling event for Rotary Newcastle. Logan rode from Newcastle Harbour to Dungog which had many hill climbs and descents. Congratulations to Nicolas Willey in Year 7, who recently represented NSW in the Under 14's Ice Hockey Team for the 2018 National Phil Ginsberg Tournament. Small Moment Writing

Congratulations to Tyrone Dorrell, Sam McCudden, Daniel Lavery and James Vassallo on your excellent Small Moment Writing pieces completed at the recent year 7 Immersion Day. Outstanding work boys. Tyrone Dorrell Everyone turned their eyes onto us. Dylan was about to sit on our throne which took about half an hour to make. With a nervous glance he slowly sat, we knew what was about to happen. My dreams of it staying Grand crumbled just like the throne. The feeling of disappointment imbedded into my chest because I didn’t think we were going to go out like this. A sudden sense of pride swooped through me because what we made did actually look like a throne; Even though it didn’t act like one. If I had to take one thing from that moment I would take even though we did fail, we did achieve more than we could have hope for because we worked together to do the best we could. Daniel Lavery We scramble to put our cardboard chair together whilst Mrs. Murdoch is mid-way through her sentence of saying "5 minutes left". My group is working to get those chocolates that were promised to the winners. "3 minutes left", we panic and do our best to finish the chair on time. Every chair has failed so far on the sitting test and then comes our opportunity to win the challenge, but as soon as I sat on the chair, I noticed something. One of the support legs had folded and before I could blink the chair crumbled and our chance of winning the chocolates were crushed. Even though our chances were crushed, I learnt how important teamwork is when trying to achieve goals. Sam McCudden "TIME!" called the teacher. The pressure to get the throne finished was instantly lifted by that one word… but only for a few seconds as I realized it still had to be judged. When the judges came to our throne we realized it was too tall. I knew our design was strong, but I didn’t know if it was strong enough for Tom, the heaviest person in our group, who was the only one tall enough to sit on our throne. Slowly Tom put his weight on to the throne. I felt a sigh of release as the throne held Toms weight but not for long as right before my eyes, crumpled the throne and our chances of winning. The judges moved on without saying a word. James Vassallo Everyone turned their eyes onto us. Dylan was about to sit on our throne which took about half an hour to make. Callum Sutton

Congratulations to Callum Sutton in Year 11, who has recently competed in the 2018 Molokai 2 Oahu Paddleboard World Championships for the second year in a row, achieving an incredible 7th in the world. Callum (17 years of age) paddled the 32 Miles (54 Kilometres) in 7 hours and 22 minutes in the Men’s 18-29 years SOLO Stock Prone Board division. The event was held in the worse conditions in race history, competitors paddled between the island of Molokai and the island of Oahu, Hawaii through the Kaiwi Channel (The Channel of Bones). Callum competed against the world’s best including the current World Surfing Champion John John Florence. Riley Lovell

Congratulations to Riley Lovell in Year 11, who recently won a $500 scholarship from Youth in Performing Arts for his exceptional work as backstage crew. Well done Riley an outstanding achievement.

Year 8 English

Congratulations to Fergus Clydesdale, Xavier-John Nisbett and Louis Whyatt from Ms Nowalinski's Year 8 English class for their outstanding work in a recent assessment task. Students were asked to create a visual representation of poetry studied in class, then write a written reflection about the poetry. Great effort boys.

Oscar Crowe

Congratulations to Oscar Crowe in Year 9 who was named Newcastle Permanent Junior Lifesaver of the Year at the recent Surf Life Saving Central Coast - 2018 Awards of Excellence. Oscar volunteers for the MacMasters Beach Surf Life Saving club and is to be congratulated on this outstanding achievement.

Kai Darwin

Congratulations to Kai Darwin in Year 10 who was recently announced the recipient of the 'Young Volunteer of the Year' award. The award is part of the Volunteer Central Coast organisation and Central Coast Council. Kai was nominated by Umina Surf Lifesaving Club for his continued service to the club and the community. An outstanding achievement for a dedicated and selfless young man.

Mark Sweeney

Congratulations to Mark Sweeney in Year 8, who recently competed in the Australian Open Karate Championships in Sydney. Mark placed 3rd in his Kata, an outstanding achievement! Mark also won Gold at the NSW Open on 12 and 13 May in his Kumite dividsion. He will now fly to Auckland to represent Australia at the Oceania Karate Cup. We wish Mark well in the competition.

Daniel McLoughlin

Congratulations to Daniel McLoughlin in Year 8 who recently competed in the 2018 Georgina Hope Foundation Age Swimming Nationals in Sydney. Daniel qualified for 3 events: 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly and 800 freestyle. He had 3 great swims, with 3 personal bests. An outstanding result for his first National appearance.

John French

Congratulations to John French in Year 9 for an outstanding Term 1 English Assessment. John gave an exceptional response in his Assessment Task and is to be congratulated on his hard work and effort.

Outstanding Work in TAS

Congratulations to William Hodder and Felix Mitchell, both in Mr Bondfield's Year 7 TAS class. William and Felix have been working hard on their first Metal project and have produced excellent finished jobs. Great effort boys.

Australian Canoeing Nationals

Congratulations to Fletcher Armstrong in Year 10 and Byron Chadwick in Year 12 who achieved outstanding results at the recent Australian Canoeing National Championships held at the International Regatta Centre in Penrith. Fletcher Armstrong won the Under 16 K1 1000 m, 500 m and 2.5 km; the Under 16 K2 1000 m, 500 m and 200 m; as well as the Under 16 K4 1000 and 200 m. With eight gold medals, he was selected in the Under 16 Australian Sprint Kayak team to compete at the Asia Pacific Championships in Adelaide in May. Byron Chadwick won the Under 18 K2 1000 m and 500 m; the Under 18 K4 1000 m and 500 m. He was selected in the Under 18 Australian Sprint Kayak team to compete at the Asia Pacific Championships in Adelaide in May and the Under 18 Junior Worlds team to travel to Bulgari. Exceptional results from two very talented young sportsmen, we wish them well in the upcoming Championships. Byron is pictured with Old Boy, Harry Armstrong who also achieved outstanding results winning the Under 18 K1 1000 and 500m; the Under 18 K2 1000 and 500m; the Under 18 K4 1000 and 500m. He was also selected in the Under 18 Australian Sprint Kayak team to compete at the Asia Pacific Championships in Adelaide in May and the Under 18 Junior Worlds team to travel to Bulgaria in July.

John Saley

Congratulations to John Saley in Year 12, who has been named in the Under 18's Australian Oztag team. The team will tour New Zealand for the Trans-Tasman Test in April and will also represent Australia in the World Cup in Coffs Harbour in November. An outstanding achievement for a very talented sportsman.

Virtual Debating

On Thursday 8 March, Kai Wheelock, Ikey Allen, Jai Heaney and Jett Heaney competed in a Virtual Debate against Walford Anglican school for Girls (South Australia). This is a new competition for St Edward's and means we can debate schools across the whole of Australia without leaving the College. The topic for the debate was: That employers should be able to fire employees based on social media posts and presence. A fantastic debate proceeded and our school narrowly lost but gave a wonderful battle, the adjudicator had high praise for the St Edward's College team.

Mark Sweeney

Congratulations to Mark Sweeney in Year 8, who has been selected to represent Australia at the 2018 Oceania Karate Cup, to be held in New Zealand in May this year. Mark will compete in two events, the Under 14 Male Kata and the Under 14 Male -55 kg. Mark also won 2nd place in Kumite and 3rd place in Kata at the NSW State Titles recently and was selected in the 2018 NSW State team.

Adrian Pozo

Congratulations to Adrian Pozo in Year 7 on his recent selection by the Northumberland Tennis Committee to represent the Northumberland Region in the Under 12's State Teams Tennis Championship in Bathurst in March. An outstanding achievement Adrian we wish you luck in the Championships.

Swimming Record Broken

Congratulations to Nick Green, Ryan Green, Nathan Irvine and Declan Richardson (all in Year 8) who broke a St Edward's College Swimming Record at the recent carnival. They swam the Under 14's, 4 x 50 m Freestyle Relay in 2:00:53. Winning the race for Spillane (Red).

Jacob Curcio

Congratulations to Jacob Curcio in Year 10, who broke a St Edward's College Swimming Record at the recent carnival. Jacob swam the Intermediate 200 m Freestyle in 2:06:51. A great achievement Jacob.
