Food Technology and Hospitality Area
The Food Technology and Hospitality area has an air-conditioned theory room with projector and screen, together with a docking station to enable teachers to connect their notebooks to the College network.

The kitchen and practical area has the following facilities for six groups of four students:

  • 6 colour-coded bays
  • 3 gas and 3 electric stovetops and ovens
  • Microwave
  • Cutlery drawers
  • Crockery
  • Cake tins
  • Saucepans
  • Glass bowls
  • Measuring jugs
  • Cooking accessories
  • Cleaning cupboard

The demonstration and preparation areas have the following:

  • Commercial stainless steel work bench
  • Gas stainless steel oven and stovetop
  • Electric stove top and oven
  • Salamander
  • Deep fryer
  • Fridge
  • Microwave
  • Washing machine
  • Dryer
  • Dishwasher
  • Ironing station
  • Small appliances including bamix, food processor, dehydrator, beaters, blenders, electric knives
  • Change room with pigeon holes for toolkit storage
  • Dedicated walk-in pantry and dry storage areas
