St Edward's | Scholarships

The College community has undertaken to support various students by providing a number of scholarships for 2013 to students enrolled at the College. These are:

    Scholarships
  • The Board Scholarship for academic excellence. Year 11 and 12
  • The Catholic Women’s League Scholarship for all-round potential. Year 11 and 12
  • The P & F Edmund Rice Scholarship for all round ability. Year 11 and 12
  • Sport Scholarship.  Year 11 and 12
     
  • The Judy Skeahan Bequest Scholarship (St Vincent de Paul). Year 9 and 10

 

The rationale behind these scholarships is in keeping with the Cultural Characteristics that form the basis of our existence as a school in the Edmund Rice tradition. In particular, the Cultural Characteristics ‘At the Margins’ and ‘Service of Others’ where students and staff are involved in programmes in which they interact and work with the disadvantaged, understanding service as the movement from charity to justice.
