The Library is a vibrant and dynamic centre of resource-based learning in the College.
The teacher librarian works with classroom teachers to co-operatively plan and teach lessons which are designed to improve information literacy skills. Students are taught how to find information using a variety of sources. The emphasis then moves to analysing and synthesising the information, thus developing critical literacy and thinking skills.
In addition to supporting information-based tasks, the Library is also a centre of reading and great literature. The latest fiction is available and promoted through wide reading lessons. Students are encouraged to share book reviews and recommendations through the secure social networking feature of Destiny Quest, a popular feature of the online Library Management System,
